Implementation of The Charities Act 2006

The Government has issued the first commencement order which brings into force a number of the Act's provisions with an effective date of 27 February 2007. Details of exactly what becomes effective were summarised by the Office of the Third Sector in an implementation plan which can be reached using the link below.
